Professional, lawful, and responsible technical use.
1. Permitted use
The platform may be used for professional diagnostic assistance, electronic repair support, file analysis, technical documentation, wiring and pinout reference, calibration support, training, research, motorsport, off-road, and other legally permitted automotive technical workflows.
2. Eligibility
Users must be 18 or over and must use the platform in a professional or legally permitted technical capacity. Users are responsible for ensuring that they are allowed to perform the requested work in their jurisdiction and professional context.
3. User responsibility
Users are solely responsible for verifying the vehicle, ECU, file type, technical instructions, legal status, safety requirements, workshop procedures, and regulatory obligations before applying any information, digital output, report, or product obtained from the platform.
4. Restricted and prohibited use
Do not use the platform for illegal road use, fraud, theft, unauthorized access, odometer fraud, unsafe modifications, prohibited activity, bypassing legal requirements, violating inspection or emissions rules, or any use that is not allowed in your jurisdiction or professional context.
5. Account, credential and token abuse
Users may not share, sell, rent, transfer, or resell accounts, sessions, credentials, subscriptions, tokens, generated outputs, or desktop/API access. Tokens are digital service credits for platform use only and have no cash value.
6. Software, API and security restrictions
Users may not bypass authentication, HWID, token, rate-limit, subscription, or service controls; attack, overload, scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer the API; extract protected databases or service logic; redistribute the desktop application; or attempt unauthorized access to platform systems.
7. Misuse consequences
ECU Calibronix is not responsible for misuse, illegal use, incorrect application, wrong file or ECU selection, unsafe repairs, third-party modifications, or damage or loss caused by actions outside the intended professional and legally permitted scope.
8. Support limits
Support is limited to the services, tools, documentation, and digital products available on the platform. Support does not guarantee repair success, vehicle compatibility, regulatory approval, inspection acceptance, emissions acceptance, or outcomes outside the supported technical scope.
9. Chargebacks, fraud and payment abuse
Fraudulent payments, unauthorized payment attempts, chargeback abuse, false refund claims, or repeated payment disputes may result in suspension or termination and may limit refund eligibility.
10. Enforcement
Accounts, tokens, subscriptions, digital services, or access may be limited, suspended, refused, or terminated for misuse, abuse, fraudulent activity, unsafe requests, prohibited use, chargeback abuse, credential sharing, attempts to bypass platform controls, or policy violations.
11. Indemnification reference
Users are responsible for claims, losses, costs, or liabilities caused by their misuse of the platform, breach of policies, unlawful activity, unsafe workshop actions, or violation of vehicle, inspection, safety, or professional obligations.
12. Changes
This Acceptable Use Policy may be updated as the platform, services, compliance requirements, supported products, and security controls evolve. Continued use after the effective date of an update means the user accepts the updated policy.
